"Homes for Purple Martins" with Perry Vogel, Purple Martin Association of the Dakotas, at 11 a.m.  Saturday.  Vogel will focus on what you can do to help these birds -- and, at the same time, add a little drama to your backyard.  He'll tell attendees about the "Building Codes" required for successful purple martin house construction, house inspections and much more.  Vogel, dubbed "the Purple Martin man" by the Grand Forks Herald, knows martins.  His martin houses in Grand Forks have fledged more than 600 birds in the past decade.
