Spotted 4 Tree Swallows purched above, our only system with cubys, this wed. AM.
Sno is leaving Fast & noticed an Eastern Phoebe, picking Flys off our exterior walls, already.
Geese, Hawks. Sandhills & a mirad of Avian migrants
Are moving in & passing thru!
PM system I started last fall, is waiting for Paint. Once
Frost goes, will be helping a new Wannabe, raise it at his home site!
Spose Crookston area, could see Arrivals any day
Good Luck to all!
Hope to hear some reports from group soon!

Re: 2023
Update;
Scout map indicates, that Allen, at Crookston has reported first ASY-m, arrived at that site on 4-19-23!
Our first ASY-m arrived in Thief River Falls area at 7 PM, on the 19th as well, following a sno/rain squall & preceding a 5 inch snow event.
He reappeared on Saturday, as the sun appeared, he flew up foraging, half the day, than spent afternoon hanging out checking cubys & visiting with me, before turning in for the nite, around 7 PM.
Obviously, the up-temps in early April produced enough forage for a few PM. It's day seven & although he's hard to track, when spotted, his wings are still working Good!
A few TS, have appeared & left twice already!
Either these Avian are getting smart about climate changes or numbers are down, time will tell!
Be fun to here, what others are experiencing?

2023 in review
Hosted 24 pair at home site, fledged 106, from 116 eggs!
Two females went missing, leaving 8 unincubated eggs!
Satillite site, 7 pair, fledged 3o from 33 eggs!
Group I helped start, produced approx. 240 fledges, in 2023.
Productive, inspite of Kool spring, Hot/Dry weather!
Raised one & constructed another new system, for an area business! Am gathering parts for yet another, to be raised in spring!
Any progress reports, from others in this group
